Deck overview

This Temur deck is an aggressive Midrange Voltron strategy piloted by the partner pair Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy Pako ahead of curve. Pako attacks immediately thanks to haste, exiling the top card of every player's library, accumulating +1/+1 counters, and loading up an exile zone of stolen spells and lands. Haldan, Avid Arcanist then turns that exiled pile into massive, repeatable card advantage, casting opponents' interaction and extra ramp. The deck defends Pako with a remarkably dense suite of 1-mana instant-speed protection spells granting hexproof, indestructible, and shroud. Once Pako's power scales, lethal damage doublers and unblockable effects quickly eliminate opponents one by one via commander damage.
