Mutant Mayhem by user7088146

Format: Commander

Commander: Jegantha, the Wellspring

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color mutate value deck that uses Jegantha, the Wellspring as a mana-producing commander while Otrimi, the Ever-Playful acts as the hidden commander and primary recursive beatstick. The plan is to anchor mutation on a cheap hexproof creature, then chain mutate spells to grow one or more large flying stacks while triggering card draw, token creation, permanent cheating, and graveyard recursion. Vesuvan Duplimancy turns each mutate spell into a nonlegendary copy of the stack, enabling a wide board. The deck wins through overwhelming combat, not combo, and relies on Nethroi and Brokkos to rebuild after interaction. Its main weakness is a near-total lack of stack protection.
