Edgar Markov by Rosaroterpanther

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a wide, aggressive Mardu Vampire deck built to exploit Edgar Markov's Eminence ability: every Vampire spell after the first creates a free 1/1 token even while Edgar sits in the command zone. The core plan is to curve cheap Vampires into a dense stack of lords and anthems - Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Markov Baron, Shared Animosity, Banner of Kinship - until the board itself is lethal. Edgar accelerates that clock: he has haste, attacks the turn he lands, and his attack spreads +1/+1 counters across the whole team. The deck also carries a deterministic drain-combo backup: Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, feathered by Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, and Vein Ripper. It is a midrange tribal snowball rather than a fast combo deck, winning through overwhelming combat backed by life-drain reach.
