Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy archetype focused on casting Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of curve. The core game plan uses 1-mana ramp dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise on Turn 1, followed by aggressively costed, high-power creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Steel Leaf Champion, and Rhonas the Indomitable on Turns 2 and 3. These creatures quickly push total battlefield power past 10, reducing Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Ghalta fuels massive card-draw bursts through spells like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker. The deck finishes opponents with trampling combat damage amplified by Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While susceptible to board sweepers and combat delays, the deck features strong redundancy, instant protection, and independent threats like Tyrranax Rex.
