Commander: Derevi, Empyrial Tactician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An aggressive Bant flying tribal deck built around Derevi, Empyreal Tactician. Derevi's enters and combat triggers tap down blockers or untap lands for extra mana, letting the deck chain cheap evasive creatures and draw engines. The primary plan is a wide board of Birds and flying creatures, multiplied by Favorable Winds, Empyrean Eagle, and Skycat Sovereign, with Beastmaster Ascension as the main overrun. Secondary paths include token generation from Murmuration, Emeria Angel, and Flurry of Wings, plus a massive Sephara, Sky's Blade as a free indestructible lord. Derevi can be replayed from the command zone with a fixed activation cost, making it a resilient source of mana and tempo.
