Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Boros Stax and Aggro-Combo build commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. Its strategy revolves around establishing aggressive early-turn board states with zero- and one-drop non-Human creatures while simultaneously deploying oppressive stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, and Blood Moon. On Turn 4, casting Winota turns every attacking non-Human into a powerful dig engine, cheating high-impact Humans like Blade Historian, Angrath's Marauders, and Grand Abolisher directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Because Winota puts creatures into play rather than casting them, the deck breaks complete parity on its own Rule of Law effects, suffocating opponents' spell-based strategies while snowballing overwhelming combat damage. Supported by robust silence-style protection like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos, along with an infinite combat combo via Combat Celebrant and Rionya, Fire Dancer, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 5.
