Deck overview

This mono-black artifact deck focuses on synergistic combat damage, graveyard recursion, and token generation centered on Necron creatures. Commanded by Szarekh, the Silent King, the deck develops mana in the early turns before deploying Szarekh on Turn 4 to mill cards and filter artifact creatures directly into hand. As the graveyard fills with Necron warriors and colossal C'tan shards, the deck shifts into high gear around Turn 7. It deploys massive threats like Shard of the Void Dragon or executes sweeping plays with Living Death and Their Name Is Death. Opponents are systematically overwhelmed through evasive combat damage, menace anthems from Skorpekh Lord, and unearth recursion. While the deck boasts resilient mid-game rebuilding through its graveyard engines, it remains vulnerable to dedicated graveyard hate, artifact board wipes, and fast combo strategies due to limited stack interaction.
