Deck overview

This is a Grixis Wizard-tribal value engine helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The front face generates discard-and-draw on entry and attack, while the back face turns every point of opponent life loss during your turn into card draw. The deck is built around a dense "cast a noncreature spell ping each opponent" package - Black Waltz No. 3, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, Circle of Power, Cornered by Black Mages, Lindblum, Industrial Regency // Mage Siege, and Black Mage's Rod - amplified by Harmonic Prodigy and Wizard's Staff to double triggers. Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Psychosis Crawler convert that draw into damage, Purphoros, God of the Forge pings on creature ETBs, and a discard subtheme (Waste Not, Bandit's Talent, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar) feeds the engine. Wins come from grinding value into a big Exsanguinate, combat with doubled Wizard pings, or a Niv-Mizzet draw-ping chain, with reanimation (Reanimate, Rise of the Dark Realms) as a backup.
