Commander of Gates: Miku by mgm67

Format: Commander

Creator: mgm67

Commander: Child of Alara

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Gate control and land-combo build using Child of Alara primarily as an emergency board wipe in the command zone. The main game plan revolves around assembling Gates to trigger an alternate win condition through Maze's End, backed by high-velocity card draw engines like Guild Summit and Tatyova, Benthic Druid. Secondary win paths include assembling the Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage combo to summon a 20/20 flying indestructible Marit Lage token, or grinding out combat damage with token producers and Angel synergies. Untap effects like Gond Gate, Spelunking, and Amulet of Vigor ensure taplands do not stifle tempo.
