Commander: Tyrox, Saurid Tyrant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red combat/voltron deck built around Tyrox, Saurid Tyrant, a cheap 4/1 commander whose only real job is to carry Equipment and enable Ferocious payoffs such as Furious Rise, Bolt Bend, and Barrage of Boulders. The primary path to victory is accelerated commander damage: suit up Tyrox, put the table on a three-hit clock, then multiply that clock with extra combat spells like Full Throttle and Hellkite Charger. The deck also has a big-red damage-doubling finish in Angrath's Marauders and a board-reset contingency built around Brash Taunter surviving Obliterate. There are no infinite combos; instead, the deck relies on redundant Equipment, impulse draw, and explosive combat chains to close out three opponents in one turn once Full Throttle or Hellkite Charger arrives.
