Return the Slaaab by mwdishaw

Format: Commander

Commander: Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor commands a Grixis enchantment control deck that drains opponents through curses, forced discard, and punishing upkeep triggers. The deck develops pillowfort defenses and continuous card advantage before locking down the table. Lynde acts as a recursion engine and card draw source, recycling destroyed curses and passing them across the table. The primary win condition grinds down life totals using stacked attrition pieces like Mogis, God of Slaughter, Spiteful Visions, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or finishes players instantly by pairing Grievous Wound with Wound Reflection. Extra upkeep steps and enchantment copying accelerate this inevitable drain.
