Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs classic Elf tribal acceleration with a dedicated self-mill engine to maximize the power of Abomination of Llanowar. Early turns focus on establishing mana dorks and milling creatures into the graveyard with tools like Grisly Salvage and Cemetery Tampering. Once the graveyard and battlefield are stocked, Abomination of Llanowar enters as a massive threat with built-in menace and vigilance. Midgame transitions capitalize on wide boards and big mana through Circle of Dreams Druid and Wirewood Channeler, funding mass pumps or lethal drain via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. While the deck possesses strong card recovery and redundant finishers like Moon-Vigil Adherents and Tyvar, the Pummeler, its vulnerability to graveyard exile and sweepers requires careful pacing and selective deployment of recursion spells.
