Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Ninja tempo build piloted by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan deploys low-cost evasive creatures on the first turn to cheat Yuriko into play via Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. By bypassing commander tax and triggering on combat damage, Yuriko circumvents standard resource gates while continuously drawing cards and burning each opponent for the revealed card's mana value. The deck converts high-cost delve and split cards like Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Trespass, and Dig Through Time into massive burn payloads while casting them cheaply or using them purely for damage. A lean interaction package of 1-mana and 2-mana counterspells and spot removal protects this clock against opposing threats. While the list excels at engine velocity and resilience against commander removal, it remains vulnerable to effects that lock down activated abilities or prevent attacking.
