Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura control strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. It leverages cheap Auras to pacify opposing threats and buff your own creatures while turning each attached Aura into an end-step life drain engine. By placing goad effects and disabling Auras onto dangerous opposing commanders, Eriette makes you immune to their attacks and forces opponents to damage each other. Meanwhile, enchantress engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer maintain a steady flow of cards to chain multiple spells per turn. Layered defensive enchantments such as Greater Auramancy and Sphere of Safety establish a formidable pillowfort. If opponents remove your board, mass recursion spells like Retether and Replenish quickly restore your Auras. The deck finishes games through insurmountable drain triggers backed by evasive token swarms from Sigil of the Empty Throne or tall attacks powered by All That Glitters.
