Blech Lifely Pest by Damage

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is the centerpiece of a Golgari lifegain-counter engine. The deck generates many small life-gain triggers-landfall, enter-the-battlefield effects, Food sacrifice, death triggers, and repeatable enchantments-and converts each trigger into +1/+1 counters on every Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake, and Spider. Token producers and counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Corpsejack Menace, and Winding Constrictor turn those triggers into a growing board, while South Wind Avatar, Starscape Cleric, Bastion of Remembrance, and Cauldron of Essence drain opponents at the same time. The finish is usually a trample or menace combat, backed by recursion and flexible removal. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the deck wins through accumulated value.
