Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats midrange engine built around Lyzolda, the Blood Witch. The strategy focuses on establishing repeatable sacrifice loops by combining recursive creatures and token generators with instant-speed sacrifice outlets and drain payoffs. Lyzolda provides steady card advantage and direct damage from the command zone, while key pieces in the 99 like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mayhem Devil, and Goblin Bombardment scale table-wide life loss. The mana base is supported by sacrifice-fueled velocity from Warren Soultrader, Ashnod's Altar, and Pitiless Plunderer. The deck excels at board control and asymmetric attrition through Grave Pact and Braids, Arisen Nightmare, grinding opposing creature strategies out of the game while stockpiling resources. It is highly resilient against removal due to heavy functional redundancy and instant-speed sacrifice options, though it remains vulnerable to graveyard exile and enchantment-based threats.
