Deck overview

This deck is a Simic storm-tempo list that uses Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief to duplicate single-target spells and accelerate Venerated Rotpriest triggers. By casting low-cost instant-speed cantrips, clone effects, and protection spells targeting Rotpriest, Ivy copies each spell onto herself. This interaction triggers Rotpriest twice per cast, distributing lethal poison counters across the table while drawing replacement cards. The deck leverages token copiers like Vesuvan Duplimancy and Orvar, the All-Form to multiply Rotpriests, turning every 1-mana spell into a burst of poison and card draw. While the deck lacks fast mana rocks and heavy stax denial, it compensates with an ultra-efficient protection package that shields both creatures simultaneously for a single green or blue mana. An alternate victory line using Biovisionary provides a reliable backup plan when Rotpriest is contested, ensuring consistent lethality by Turn 5 or 6.
