Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Ayara, First of Locthwain and focuses on aristocrat synergies, tribal Zombie recursion, and compact life-drain combos. It accelerates using mono-black staples such as Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and Cabal Coffers, quickly deploying Ayara, First of Locthwain to turn creature entries and deaths into steady incremental damage and card advantage. The deck transitions into a decisive win through infinite sacrifice-and-cast loops featuring Gravecrawler alongside mana-producing sac outlets like Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar. It also packs a backup two-card infinite combo in Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Mass reanimation spells such as Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding provide immense late-game resilience, while asymmetric tools like Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet punish opposing creature boards.
