Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on leveraging Kotis, the Fangkeeper to convert combat damage into explosive card and mana advantage. Kotis features native indestructibility, making it resilient against board wipes and combat trades. By buffing Kotis's power with equipment and auras like Blackblade Reforged, Ana Sanctuary, and Fallen Ideal, each combat connection exiles deep into an opponent's library and casts all revealed nonland spells with matching or lower mana value without paying their costs. The deck supplements this combat engine with high-end theft and reanimation bombs, including Breach the Multiverse, Bolas's Citadel, and Elder Brain. It also packs a disruptive lockout combination in Notion Thief plus Teferi's Puzzle Box. While the deck generates massive tempo swings by casting opponents' best spells for free, its closing speed is tied to traditional multi-turn combat rotations across three opponents.
