The cat queen by stappana

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu "monarch control" deck helmed by Queen Marchesa. The strategy prioritizes becoming the monarch early via the commander or one of several "becomes the monarch" cards, then enforcing the crown with a dense pillowfort suite (Ghostly Prison, Windborn Music, Crawlspace) and a web of punishers and deterrents (Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Michiko Konds, Truth-Seeker). The player profits from the bonus card draw, ongoing token generation, and eventual combat damage multiplied by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Akroma's Will. It is a value-and-politics build that wins through incremental combat damage rather than infinite combos. ---
