Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that uses Treasure tokens as both ramp and a board pump. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with Dwarves and artifact tokens, letting Thorin's anthem and cards like Coat of Arms turn a wide board into a lethal attack. Secondary paths lean on Desert Were-Worm's extra combat, Smaug the Magnificent's Treasure-based drain, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw tutoring artifact or Dragon finishers. The commander accelerates every Dwarf ETB and scales the team; Magda is the de facto hidden engine. Storied payoffs (Fili, Bifur, Balin) turn the permanent-heavy board into card advantage and extra tokens.
