Avengers Assembled Upgrade by user7955721

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Jeskai Hero tribal deck is built around Captain America, Team Leader's counter engine. Cheap Heroes enter with haste, put counters on themselves and the commander, and fuel a wide swarm that attacks every turn. The faster finish is a full-team swing made by Captain America, Wings of Freedom with Captain America's Shield, turning its toughness into a global pump; the back-up is commander damage from a counter-heavy Team Leader equipped with Mjolnir. Champions from Beyond, Door of Destinies, and Avengers Assemble! push the board over the top, while Kindred Discovery, Jarvis, and attacking Heroes keep cards flowing. The commander matters, but enough anthems and flyers exist to continue without it.
