Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck operates as a high-powered Grixis Wheel and Punisher strategy. Its central gameplan is to accelerate early mana, establish draw-taxing permanents like Nekusar, Underworld Dreams, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and then resolve mass wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Time Spiral. Each wheel inflicts substantial damage across all three opponents simultaneously while continuously refilling the pilot's hand with more gas. The list also incorporates devastating lock and acceleration pieces, including Notion Thief to completely strip opposing hands and Waste Not to generate abundant mana and tokens during wheel chains. Auxiliary win lines like Underworld Breach loops and Phyresis allow for explosive same-turn finishes. While giving opponents seven fresh cards carries inherent risk, the sheer damage output, hand disruption, and redundant punishers ensure the table is quickly burned down before opponents can effectively leverage their new resources.
