Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control strategy led by Tasha, the Witch Queen. It aims to slow down aggressive opponents through a heavy sweeper suite and asymmetric tax pieces before closing the game with compounding Curses, mass mill, or stolen high-impact spells. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with two-mana artifacts to deploy Tasha, Talion, the Kindly Lord, or card draw engines on turn 4. In the midgame, the deck wipes the board with cards like Toxic Deluge and Damnation while building an oppressive board state using Painful Quandary and Curse of Misfortunes. Late-game finishers such as Doomsday Excruciator, Consuming Aberration, and copied Curses via Estrid's Invocation rapidly deplete opposing libraries and life totals. The deck excels at grinding out long multiplayer games through card advantage and persistent attrition.
