Deck overview

This deck uses Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer and a high basic-land count to turn land ramp into large creatures and combat pressure. Its strongest ordinary sequence is to develop with cards such as Kodama's Reach, Skyshroud Claim, and Sakura-Tribe Elder, then deploy Garruk's Uprising and a large creature such as Tangle Golem. Howl of the Night Pack, Kalonian Twingrove, and Treeshaker Chimera provide later board presence, while Blackblade Reforged and pump spells improve individual attackers. The deck has reasonable land access and some card-drawing creatures, but its threats are expensive and its finish is not compact. It lacks haste, reliable evasion beyond trample, stack interaction, sweepers, graveyard hate, and protection for its key enchantment or token board. It can produce a threatening battlefield in the late game, but it does not reliably convert that battlefield into a table kill or lockout.
