Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Gisa, the Hellraiser, converting crime triggers into a relentless army of 3/3 menace Zombie Rogues. By utilizing cheap targeting artifacts like Glasses of Urza, Codex Shredder, and Relic of Progenitus, the deck triggers Gisa during each player's turn to generate up to eight tokens per table rotation. Once a broad board is established, the deck transitions into an oppressive aristocrats engine using Grave Pact, Blood Artist, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician to clear opposing boards while draining life totals. Big-mana enablers such as Cabal Coffers and Three Tree City provide late-game mana velocity to cast massive drain spells or recover rapidly from board disruption.
