Deck overview

This mono-green deck pairs Saproling tribal synergies with an Enchantress and Voltron shell, led by Shroofus Sproutsire. Because Shroofus is naturally a Saproling with trample, any stat-boosting Aura or counter placed on him directly multiplies token generation whenever he deals combat damage to an opponent. The early game focuses on deploying fast green ramp through mana dorks and low-cost land searchers, allowing Shroofus to enter on turn two or three. Once Shroofus is established, players attach scaling Auras such as Ancestral Mask, Bear Umbra, or Crystalline Armor to swing for significant trampling damage, instantly spawning a matching swarm of 1/1 green Saproling tokens. This army triggers token and enchantress draw engines, replenishing resources to field overwhelming broad-board threats like Unnatural Growth or Verdeloth the Ancient. While the deck accelerates quickly into a lethal wide and tall board, it relies heavily on creature combat, leaving it vulnerable to mass board wipes and targeted disruption during Aura attachment windows.
