Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant +1/+1-counter deck that uses cheap proliferate creatures and counter-doubling enchantments to turn a single counter into an overwhelming board. The primary plan is to drop a 2-mana counter source, play Tidus on turn 3, and use his Cheer trigger to draw and proliferate every combat. Midgame engines like Hardened Scales, The Earth Crystal, and Zimone massively amplify counter growth, and the deck wins through Tidus commander damage, an unchecked Twenty-Toed Toad, or a wide trampling/double-strike team. The secondary path is value and protection: keep a board protected with Inspiring Call and Mutational Advantage while repeatedly proliferating.
