Format: Commander

Commander: Scion of the Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Scion of the Ur-Dragon is a five-color Dragon toolbox that uses its {2} activation to find Dragon permanents, bin them, and attack with the best combat trigger of the turn. The primary plan is a critical-mass combat kill with Dragon tokens, treasure ramp, and pump effects; a secondary path uses Descendants' Fury to turn combat damage into free Dragons from the library, while the Omen cards offer flexible instant and sorcery faces. The commander acts as a tutorable attacker, mana engine, and reach piece, not as a combo anchor. There is no hidden commander in the strict sense, but Lathliss, Dragon Queen is effectively the hidden engine. The deck wins by overwhelming the table with flying attackers after several turns of setup.
