Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger burn deck leverages Kuja, Genome Sorcerer to amass Wizard tokens that scale into lethal noncombat damage once Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC ramp artifacts and early Wizard generators such as Coruscation Mage and Mysidian Elder to quickly satisfy Kuja's four-Wizard transformation requirement by Turn 4. Once Kuja flips, its static ability doubles all damage dealt by Wizards, turning every cheap noncreature spell, ritual, and cantrip into massive global damage bursts. Mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist sustain explosive velocity, allowing the deck to chain spells and eliminate all three opponents on Turn 5. As a compact alternate win condition, the deck features the instant-speed Dualcaster Mage plus Saw in Half combo. Defensive deflection spells and cheap removal protect the engine, ensuring a swift and decisive close.
