Runo Sea Creature Reanimator by James803

Format: Commander

Commander: Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss, Lord of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir sea-monster reanimator. The primary plan is to use Entomb, Buried Alive, and looting spells to put six-mana-plus Krakens, Leviathans, and Serpents into the graveyard, then cheat them into play with Reanimate and Animate Dead while Runo sets up a transform. Once Krothuss is on the back face, attacks double the largest attacker with tapped-and-attacking tokens; Spawning Kraken converts those hits into 9/9 tokens. Secondary lines use Marvo, Quicksilver Amulet, and sagas to cast threats while sea-monster-sparing bounce clears blockers. The closing strategy is evasive islandwalk attacks from an overwhelming board.
