Deck overview

This Temur Dragon tribal deck is engineered around Ureni of the Unwritten, utilizing dense green ramp and Dragon-specific mana acceleration to reliably deploy its seven-mana commander on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and whenever it attacks, Ureni digs eight cards deep to cheat massive legendary Dragons into play, bypassing their steep casting costs. The deck converts board presence into immediate lethality through global haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy, multiplicative damage sources such as Atarka, World Render and Twinflame Tyrant, and overwhelming direct burn from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas. Supporting engines like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Roaming Throne duplicate triggers, enabling explosive combat swings that overwhelm the entire table within two response cycles. While vulnerable to early tax and board wipes, high dragon redundancy and resilient combat stats provide consistent, high-impact battlecruiser pressure.
