Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Grixis midrange engine centered around Sauron, the Dark Lord, the Ring Tempts You mechanic, and Orc Amass synergies. Early turns focus on mana development using rocks and early filtering. On Turn 5, Sauron enters the battlefield protected by his legendary-sacrifice Ward cost. As opponents cast spells, Sauron automatically amasses an Orc Army. Attacking with an unblockable Ring-bearer or Army triggers the Ring, prompting Sauron to discard and draw 4 fresh cards. The deck packs 9 copies of Nazgûl, which rapidly grow into massive threats alongside Lord of the Nazgûl Wraith tokens. Mass graveyard reanimation via Living Death coupled with Anger gives the deck an explosive closing punch.
