Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its core game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns through land search and tribal cost reducers, resolving Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4, and executing explosive board states on Turn 5. Every subsequent Dragon enters as a pair, triggering massive damage engines like Terror of the Peaks and Dragon Tempest or drawing dense card advantage through Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising. The deck can win through overwhelming evasive combat damage, direct dragon-fire triggers, or an infinite combat combo using Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient and Hellkite Charger. While the high mana costs of its threats demand disciplined sequencing and leave occasional vulnerability to mass removal, the combination of raw card draw, token doublers, and ward protection makes the dragon engine resilient and fast to close out games.
