Deck overview

This competitive Commander deck utilizes Eshki, Temur's Roar as a commander-centric outlet for an explosive Food Chain combo. Powered by format-ceiling fast mana and 1-mana dorks, the deck consistently establishes its mana engine by Turn 3. The primary game plan pairs Food Chain with cast-from-exile creatures like Squee, the Immortal, Misthollow Griffin, or Eternal Scourge to generate infinite creature mana. Because Eshki triggers whenever a creature spell is cast, this loop grows Eshki to arbitrary power. Casting any creature with power 6 or greater, such as Slumbering Trudge or Phyrexian Dreadnought, immediately triggers Eshki to deal arbitrary lethal damage to all opponents in the same turn. The deck is shielded by premier free countermagic and anti-counter pieces like Allosaurus Shepherd, ensuring high resilience and interaction during win attempts.
