Deck overview

This deck combines deathtouch tribal synergies with poison and aristocrat mechanics under The Serpent Society. The game plan deploys low-cost deathtouch creatures on early turns to control combat and establish board presence. Casting the commander on turn three turns every deathtouch creature into an edict engine that forces opponents to sacrifice nontoken creatures upon death. The deck rapidly converts combat connections into lethal threat vectors through Fynn, the Fangbearer and toxic payoffs like Necrogen Rotpriest, while proliferate spells accelerate poison totals across the entire table. Tergrid, God of Fright capitalizes on forced sacrifices by stealing opposing permanents, turning defensive trades into overwhelming value. The deck exhibits resilient commander protection through its Ward ability, which threatens to poison out players who attempt spot removal, and runs robust reanimation options to recover quickly from board sweepers.
