Deck overview

This deck is an aristocrats and combat-attrition build led by Ygra, Eater of All. Ygra transforms all other creatures on the battlefield into Food artifacts, turning generic artifact removal into high-efficiency creature removal and converting every creature death into +1/+1 counters on Ygra. The deck accelerates using dense one- and two-mana ramp to deploy Ygra on Turn 4. Once assembled, asymmetric wipes like Fade from History destroy opposing boards while leaving Ygra intact as a massive, lethal threat. Win conditions center on scaling commander combat damage supported by unblockability via Tower of the Magistrate or trample from Rancor, backed by aristocrat drain loops with Disciple of the Vault, Experimental Confectioner, and Camellia, the Seedmiser. While the deck possesses explosive board control and resilient Ward protection, the lack of dedicated creature tutors and reliance on multi-turn combat rotations provide opponents windows to respond with untargeted sweepers.
