Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats list helmed by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to build a wide board of 1/1 Vampire tokens from the command zone without spending additional mana. The early game establishes a dense creature curve using low-cost Vampires like Vampire of the Dire Moon and Blood Artist. By Turn 3, the engine is fully operational with multiple attacking bodies. In the midgame, the deck leverages tribal force multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Sanctum Seeker, and Malakir Bloodwitch to threaten lethal damage and asymmetric life drain. If combat stalls, aristocrat death triggers from Cruel Celebrant and Falkenrath Noble grind opponents down. The list also features an infinite drain backup with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond. Premier removal spells like Anguished Unmaking and board protection from Teferi's Protection provide resilience against opposing interaction.
