Format: Commander

Commander: Urza, Chief Artificer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Urza, Chief Artificer leads a token-focused Esper artifact build rather than a combo deck. The deck lowers his cost with artifact creatures, then multiplies the end-step Construct trigger with every token doubler in the color identity. Card draw from Sai, the Tezzerets, Mystic Forge, and Skullclamp keeps the artifact count high; a mid-game alpha strike with menace and flying, backed by Cyberdrive Awakener, is the main kill. Mechanized Production is a real alternate win. Urza, Lord Protector and The Mightstone and Weakstone form a supporting meld/planeswalker line rather than a hidden commander. The deck is resilient to losing the commander but vulnerable to artifact/enchantment hate.
