Deck overview

This Kardur, Doomscourge deck is a high-power Rakdos reanimator combo shell fused with combat control and group slug attrition. The primary game plan aims to assemble the classic two-card infinite damage combo of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion. The deck utilizes premium black tutors such as Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Entomb alongside fast mana rituals like Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, and Mana Crypt to quickly deposit and reanimate combo components through spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead, or draw deeply via Ad Nauseam and Necropotence. When combo execution is delayed, the commander Kardur, Doomscourge acts as an exceptional defensive pivot, goading the entire table to force opponents to attack each other while draining their life totals upon death. Supported by potent stax and tax pieces including Opposition Agent, Defense Grid, and Manabarbs, the deck efficiently protects its combo window and closes games on Turn 4 with zero response cycles.
