Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu aggro-cheat strategy built around Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan accelerates Kaalia onto the battlefield on Turn 3 using efficient two-mana artifacts or Dark Ritual. On Turn 4, Kaalia attacks and triggers her ability to cheat an enormous Angel, Demon, or Dragon from hand directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck features game-ending payoffs such as Master of Cruelties for instant single-target elimination, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight for doubled damage output, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope for complete board invulnerability. A dense suite of proactive silence creatures like Grand Abolisher and free defensive spells like Deflecting Swat protect Kaalia during her vulnerable attack window. Secondary lines include Sneak Attack as a redundant cheat enabler and an infinite combat loop with Helm of the Host and Aurelia, the Warleader.
