Deck overview

This deck is an Esper kindred strategy built around flying Sphinxes and topdeck scry manipulation. Commanded by The Ur-Sphinx, the deck leverages its commander's Eminence ability from the command zone to discount all Sphinx spells by {1} throughout the match. Supported by dedicated cost-reducers like Herald's Horn, Cloud Key, and Sapphire Medallion, it deploys high-impact flying creatures ahead of curve. The deck incorporates a robust scry engine featuring Matoya, Archon Elder, Elminster, and Planetarium of Wan Shi Tong, turning deck filtering into raw card draw and free spells. Win conditions center on overwhelming aerial combat damage buffed by Denzilore Fatehold or Mirror Entity, backed by auxiliary payoffs like Psychosis Crawler and extra turns from Medomai the Ageless. While light on instant interaction, it excels at generating steady card advantage and assembling an imposing aerial fleet.
