Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord pilots a Grixis reanimator/value deck. The main plan is to fill the graveyard through looting, self-mill, and Sauron's draw-four when the Ring tempts you, then mass-reanimate with Living Death, Victimize, or Dread Return. Amass triggers create an Army that grows quickly, while Anger and Wonder in the graveyard grant haste and flying. Sauron, Lord of the Rings acts as a powerful lieutenant and finisher, not a hidden second commander. Secondary paths use Fiery Inscription and Archfiend of Ifnir to chip through, Notion Thief to punish opponents' draws, and Scourge of the Throne's extra combat to convert a full battlefield into a three-player kill. The deck wins through combat and recursion rather than an infinite loop.
