Deck overview

This Sultai deck, helmed by Gonti, Canny Acquisitor, is a hybrid theft-and-combo strategy. The primary plan is to deploy evasive creatures, connect with opponents to exile their cards, and cast them at a discount thanks to Gonti's cost reduction. The deck's real power, however, lies in its compact combo finishes: the classic Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation two-card win, and a backup infinite mana loop using Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy + Basalt Monolith + Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw the entire deck and win with Thoracle. The list is packed with fast mana, a dense tutor suite, and quality interaction, allowing it to pivot from value theft to a sudden combo kill. Gonti provides steady card advantage from the command zone, but the deck's combo lines live entirely in the 99, making it resilient to commander removal.
