Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck is commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser, focusing on generating 3/2 Spirit tokens whenever cards leave your graveyard. The strategy uses self-mill, rummaging, and discard outlets to stock the graveyard with flashback spells, reanimation targets, and recurring permanents like Squee, Goblin Nabob. Once Quintorius resolves, every card cast or returned from the graveyard triggers the creation of aggressive Spirit tokens. Midrange support pieces like Hofri Ghostforge, Caretaker's Talent, and Quintorius, Field Historian buff these tokens, while reanimation engines like Sun Titan and Excava, the Risen Past maintain continuous pressure. The deck closes games through wide combat swings augmented by Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability, granting all Spirits double strike and vigilance. While the deck possesses strong internal engine redundancy and resilient token generation, it features minimal instant-speed interaction and no hard protection spells, leaving it vulnerable to fast combo decks and heavy sweepers.
