isshin, double attack by user7866512

Format: Commander

Commander: Isshin, Two Heavens as One

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Mardu attack-trigger deck built to make Isshin's doubling ability the engine. The primary plan is to land Isshin, flood the board with tokens from Adeline, Hero, or Mardu Siegebreaker, and then use Aurelia or Combat Celebrant to chain extra combats, with Shared Animosity and Cathars' Crusade converting the swarm into lethal damage. Secondary paths are Bolas's Citadel for direct life loss and Kaalia/Tergrid as value payoffs. Aurelia is the closest thing to a hidden commander because the extra-combat turn is the real win condition. Tergrid's Lantern is the side of the included DFC best used for its sacrifice pressure; the God side is a situational recursion payoff.
