Commander: Felothar the Steadfast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Felothar the Steadfast leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck that transforms high-toughness defenders into lethal combat threats. Felothar lets defenders attack, enables them to deal combat damage using toughness, and provides a card draw engine by sacrificing high-toughness creatures. The primary game plan deploys cheap walls and mana dorks under asymmetrical stax pieces like Meekstone and Deafening Silence, then closes the game through massive combat bursts using Tower Defense, Akroma's Will, or Triumph of the Hordes. Secondarily, the deck generates infinite mana via Staff of Domination paired with Axebane Guardian or Faeburrow Elder to draw the deck and finish with Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate.
