Judge Holden's Proclamation by JitWormsly

Format: Commander

Commander: Zhao, the Moon Slayer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red artifact combo-stax list helmed by Zhao, the Moon Slayer. Zhao taxes nonbasic lands on entry and can eventually blank them into Mountains, backing a heavy Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon/Winter Moon package that cripples greedy manabases while the deck explodes on rocks, rituals, and Workshop mana. The primary wins are infinite-combat via Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host and instantaneous token loops with Dualcaster Mage copying Twinflame or Heat Shimmer. A dense zero- and one-mana rock suite, Krark-Clan Ironworks, Metalworker, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw fuel fast assembly, while stax pieces (Trinisphere, Tangle Wire, God-Pharaoh's Statue, Damping Sphere) buy time. Backup finishers include Portal to Phyrexia, Chandra, Awakened Inferno emblems, and raw Ugin, Eye of the Storms value. Zhao himself is optional stax glue-the combos live entirely in the 99.
