Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jeskai spellslinger strategy commanded by Vraska, Soul of Stone. Vraska turns every noncreature spell into a 1/1 Sculpture Treasure token that possesses natural vigilance and the ability to sacrifice for colored mana. The deck leverages this rapid token production into explosive table-wide damage using ETB burn outlets like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call. Card advantage engines like Whirlwind of Thought, Fateful Discovery, and Skullclamp ensure that casting spells refunds hand size, allowing prolonged chains of cantrips and interaction. Abundant low-cost protection spells such as Flawless Maneuver, Dawn's Truce, and Surge of Salvation safeguard key permanents while simultaneously triggering token creation. The deck reliably establishes an oppressive board state on Turn 5 and eliminates the table on Turn 6 through concentrated burn and combat damage.
