Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos go-wide artifact creature strategy helmed by Mishra, Claimed by Gix. The primary game plan focuses on curving out low-cost creatures and token generators such as Hanweir Garrison, Urabrask's Forge, and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin on early turns, followed by casting Mishra on Turn 4. Declaring attacks triggers Mishra's ability, draining life from each opponent equal to the total number of attacking creatures while padding your life total. Supporting enchantments and artifacts like Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Impact Tremors, and Within Range compound this group burn, turning broad combat steps into lethal table-wide clocks by Turn 8. While the deck boasts thematic power and meld capability with Phyrexian Dragon Engine, its reliance on combat leaves it vulnerable to mass sweepers. Furthermore, a lack of low-cost tutors and instant-speed reactive removal means it must prioritize aggressive forward momentum over defensive control to close out multiplayer games.
